Newtown Township is now accepting applications for its newly created seven member Economic Development Committee. The Committee will focus on attracting business, examine development and redevelopment opportunities, and work to increase Economic Development across the Township, among other things. Members will be expected to dedicate a reasonable amount of time on the Committee's projects outside of the regularly scheduled meetings. Resumes will be accepted until December 31, 2013 and those with a background in real estate, development, finance, or economic development are encouraged to apply.
