Building Code Board of Appeals

Hears and rules on appeals, requests for variances, and requests for extensions of time under the Uniform Construction Code, as adopted by Newtown Township. Members and alternate members are qualified, as determined by the Board of Supervisors, by training and experience to pass on matters pertaining to building construction. The Board meets on an as needed basis at the Township Building. Its members serve a three-year term.
