OLD BUSINESS:

Community Map Project

Ms. Mitchell distributed a project budget and action plan, and said she felt comfortable estimating the project would take four to six months. She said that the cost of the map and its distribution should be covered by advertising income, but there might be some profit realized. Ms. Kruse offered to work on sales, and suggested that earmarking an organization or cause for map profits would encourage advertisers to purchase space on the map.

Mr. Byelich moved that any and all net income from the map project be donated to the Joint Downtown Newtown Corporation. Mr. Worthington seconded; the motion carried unanimously.

Ms. Dunleavy raised the issue of the handling of money by the Council, including any donation to JDNC, noting that the BDC is under the auspices of the Township; Mr. Weaver will look into the issue.
