Ms. Ortwein reported that tickets for the Brewfest are completely sold out. She said she is in the process of preparing a 3 year report; this is the end of the first Main Street contract. She said everyone would be receiving a copy of the report. Ms. Ortwein said she has been pleased with the progress in all four areas of the program: design, economic restructuring, organization and promotion.

Ms. Ortwein noted there are two new businesses on State Street; last year, for the first time in nearly 10 years, occupancy downtown was 100%. She noted a new business would be coming to Sycamore Street and that there seemed to be a lot of people interested in Newtown.
