Newtown Corporation

The economic development organization formerly known as Joint Downtown Newtown Corporation. Its goals include the preservation, accessibility, diversity, vibrancy, and beauty of our town center, through the protection of older structures within historic districts, and encouraging appropriate development of under-utilized properties while utilizing new construction that is compatible with, and complimentary to, existing historic structures. The Newtown Corporation meets the second Thursday of each month, 4:30 PM, at the Newtown Borough Hall, 23 South State Street, Newtown. Its members serve a four-year term.
