July 2007 - N.E.S.D & Station 45 were dispatched to a reported dwelling fire on Cambridge Lane on July 6. While responding, fire communications reported to Engine 55-1 that the stove was on fire in the residence. Further updates from fire communications reported that the fire was spreading above the stove. Units arrived on the scene to find the fire was extinguished and smoke throughout the residence. Engine 55-1 crew checked for extension while Ladder 45 crews assisted with smoke removal. Assisting on the call was Station 73. Crew in service approx. 30 minutes.
