How can I see a broadcast of a Supervisor's Board meeting?
Answer:

On the Cable Channel 22 - The cable channel is provided to the township as part of the Comcast Cable Agreement for local government topics only and not public advertising. The Supervisor's meetings are shown at the following times:

  • Sunday 2:00 am, 3:00 pm
  • Monday 2:00 am, 10:00 am, 8:00 pm
  • Tuesday 3:00 pm
  • Wednesday 2:00 am
  • Thursday 10:00 am
  • Friday 2:00 am, 3:00 pm
  • Saturday 10:00 am, 8:00 pm

A character generator gives residents 24-hour continuous information. This is interrupted for live Board of Supervisor meetings, rebroadcasts and informational broadcasts.

In a declared emergency except snow storms Comcast will scroll messages across all of their channels with information to the effected areas.

Question:
How can I report a street light outage?
Answer:
A number on a metal tag identifies all streetlights owned by the township. To report an outage or other related issues, please provide the nearest address and the pole number. You may submit the information in an email or call 215-968-2800 x 216.
Question:
How are the traffic signals maintained?
Answer:
The township operates and maintains 21 signalized intersections in accordance with the permits issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PENNDOT). Continuous equipment upgrades have included battery backup to completely operate the signal during power interruptions and video cameras to replace embedded lane loop vehicle detection.
